Floyd Unit Records opens the official remix contest for "Medicine Jar" by SINC, available now on all platforms.
The contest is open to all forms of club-oriented electronic music.
Artistic freedom is encouraged. Production quality and dancefloor functionality are key criteria.
All stems are produced by SINC, including the original composition (melody, harmony and lyrics).
The vocal is AI-generated and used as sonic material within the project.
Instrumental versions are also welcome — the vocal may be excluded.

Process

The contest unfolds in three stages: remix production, curatorial selection, and release finalisation

Selection is based on quality, originality, coherence with the club context, and the overall direction of the project

A single remix may be selected for release. Multiple strong submissions may result in an EP or remix compilation

The release will only be published if submitted remixes meet the required quality threshold
